Amanda & Alex’s White Chimneys wedding day was so special. I don’t think I’ve ever met a more laid back couple in my life! They were both so cool and relaxed the entire day that neither of them even batted an eye when we had a quick and heavy summer shower right in the middle of bridal portraits (check out the rainbow we had).
I think my favorite part of their day was seeing how their people rallied around them so much. You can tell they’re SO loved by their friends and family–it was so sweet to witness.
Looking back through their gallery to put this post together made me long for summer nights and more beautiful wedding days like this one!

(White Chimneys Italian marble fountains are STUNNING and so romantic it kills me!)
The most beautiful hair and makeup by Tiffany from Fearfully & Wonderfully 139.
Special mother and daughters moments before the big bridesmaids reveal!
GORGEOUS Amanda !!! Holy moly.
The face of a real life angel.
We also got to spend time with the groom as he got ready! I loved the color of the blue suits they chose – a little more vibrant than navy and it was perfect!
Amanda’s sweet dad seeing her for the first time – this was such a special moment.
Then it was the big moment!!
Look at those faces! You can’t not smile.
Probably my favorite photo of the whole day! There is NOTHING like capturing those very first newly married moments.
Prettiest golden-y bridal party portraits!
Bridals were the BEST! You can just feel their excitement from looking at these photos!
Five minutes before this was taken we had a TORRENTIAL downpour. Wow.
White Chimneys’s reception barn is so warm and romantic – I also love the macrame hanging plants – they were the perfect addition!
From this exact moment on, the party did not stop once! Such a fun crowd.
Amanda’s grandmother homemade the ENTIRE dessert table – it was A M A Z I N G.
We snuck the bride and groom out for 15 minutes of sunset portraits and it was so worth it.
Amanda & Alex – thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! I loved every minute of it.
